Is it safe to link my bank account?
Plastiq uses Plaid to securely link your bank information. Linking your bank will require you to sign in with your bank login credentials and, if you've enabled 2-Factor Authentication with your bank, you will need to pass authentication. Credentials are never stored or shared with third parties.
Is there a fee for this payment method?
There is a flat fee of $1.00 for payments sent using this method. Please note, there is a $30.00 Insufficient Funds fee if Plastiq processes your scheduled payment when your account balance is too low to cover the withdrawal.
What is the delivery timeframe?
For the check and ACH delivery methods, the delivery timeframe will be 2 business days. For domestic wires, it is 1 business day. This feature doesn't currently support funding for International payments.
When are account balances updated?
As soon as your bank is linked, your balance(s) will be updated every 24 hours.
How do I remove my bank account?
Yes, you can remove it. Keep in mind, you can't remove an account if it's associated with scheduled payments. Please edit scheduled payments first to switch out the payment method before removing the account.
Can I make international payments using this payment method?
This payment method is available when making international payments! International payment fees will still apply to these payments.
