Signing up for Plastiq Accept takes no time at all! Before you get started, make sure you have your business' ACH funding details (i.e. beneficiary name, routing number, and account number) readily available.
- First, provide a unique email address (i.e. one that's not already associated with a Plastiq account) and create a secure password.
Once you've entered this information and satisfied the password security requirements, please read and accept the terms of service and privacy policy. Then, click Continue.

- To ensure the security of your account, we will prompt you to provide an active phone number to set up 2-Step Authentication. Depending on your preference, Plastiq will either send you a text message or call you with a verification code to complete this security check whenever you log in.

- Next, tell us about your business. We need the first and last name of the account holder and the name of your business. Then, select the payment category for your business. This category describes the type of payments your business will receive from customers. Click Continue to proceed to the next step.
Note- Please keep in mind that your account's payment category will determine what cards can be used to send your business payments. This category cannot be changed once you set it. We recommend taking some time to review this article to learn more about these payment restrictions.

- Provide your business address. This information will be displayed to anyone visiting your Business Landing Page (BLP). Then, click Continue.

- All of the payments you receive with Plastiq Accept will be sent to your bank account via ACH transfer. Enter the ACH funding details for this bank account- the beneficiary name, routing number, and account number.
Review these details verify that they're correct to prevent the possibility of a funding error before clicking Continue.

- You've successfully created your account! Our team will now review the information you've submitted and finish setting up your account within a few business days. Meanwhile, you're welcome to begin adding Contacts to this new account.
When it's ready, Plastiq will email you with an update on your Plastiq Accept account status. Please keep in mind that you can still access your new account to add contacts, but you won't be able to receive payments until this step is complete.

Once approved by Plastiq, you can...
-Start receiving payments using your Business Landing Page (BLP): share this link with customers so they can conveniently add your business and start sending payments.
-Make payment requests: send out requests to customers or businesses that you've added to your account as Contacts.
