Customers and businesses that send you payments with Plastiq are referred to as Contacts. Once you've set up a contact, you can send them payment requests straight from your Plastiq Accept account.

View Your List of Contacts
- All of your payment contacts are shown in the Contacts area of your account. From here you can search for a specific contact, review a contact's details and send them a new payment request.

Add a New Contact
- To add a new contact, click the "+ Add New" button on the navigation sidebar. Then, select Customer. You can also start a new contact listing by selecting Contacts on the navigation sidebar and clicking the "+" icon.

- Provide the business name where it says Organization Name. If your contact is an individual and not associated with an organization or business, you can provide the name of that customer.
The contact's payment category will be displayed as well. This category describes the type of payments you receive from this contact.
Certain types of payments are restricted by card-issuer and brand policies. Please keep these restrictions in mind when setting your payment category during account creation.

- Then, enter the contact information- the full name, email address, and phone number. Plastiq will use the email address you provide here whenever you send a new payment request to this contact.

Remove a Contact
- To delete a contact, select the listing you want to remove. Then, click the options icon on the panel on the right-hand side (highlighted in green below). Select Delete Contact and then confirm your action to remove this contact from your account.
